Old City of Mostar - Visit Bosnia & Herzegovina's Famous UNESCO Cultural Site

Spend a day with us exploring the impressive, medieval city of Mostar – walk the cobble streets, climb up the world-famous Old Bridge, try the authentic dish Ćevapi and savor a cup of Turkish coffee overlooking the Neretva river!

Description

From the moment you step on its cobblestone streets, Mostar radiates that certain feeling of belonging and acceptance. This comes as no surprise since it is recognized as a symbol of the coexistence of diverse religions and cultures; Roman Catholic Croats, the Eastern Orthodox Serbs, the Sephardic Jews and Bosniak Muslims.
Meet the city nestled along the banks of the Neretva River, perhaps best known for its Old Bridge, a UNESCO-protected site that was rebuilt after its destruction in the 1990s war. Mostar has many sites which reveal the diverse historical legacies of the many cultures that ruled this area.

During the whole journey, you will be accompanied by our guide who will make sure you have an informative and fun trip. Upon arrival to Mostar, you will be met by a local guide who will take you on a one-hour walking tour. You will hear stories and see reminders of the city’s past, such as the old bazaar and maybe you will be lucky enough to see some jumpers of the Old Bridge into Neretva River! After the tour, you will have free time to explore the area and have lunch. In the afternoon hours, you will start your journey back to Dubrovnik, with a stop at Kravice Waterfalls.

Join us for a  fascinating and fun day in Bosnia & Herzegovina, taste delicious Bosnian food and enjoy the ritual of savoring Turkish coffee in one of the many little bars in town!
