Our afternoon adventure takes us to the foot of the hill Malaštica in Župa dubrovačka and its rural villages in Postranje.

The trip begins with a transfer from your accommodation in Dubrovnik, Cavtat or Župa dubrovačka to Postranje - a group of villages located at the foot of the hill Malaštica. From here, a 15-minute hike uphill on a off road trail begins through untouched nature, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, pine trees and fresh air. On our way, we will stop at a small pond where you will be able to enjoy a beautiful view of Župa dubrovačka bay, the nearby villages of the Dubrovnik Riviera and the Adriatic Sea. The hike will continue to a vineyard of 500 vines and 2 olive groves with a total of 60 olive trees, belonging to your host whose family began cultivating this land in the 14th century for the Dubrovnik nobility.

Upon arrival, you will be served homemade liqueurs in the vineyard, followed by a story and presentation on the traditional cultivation of olives and wine. Your host will show you the cultivating techniques he has collected over the years of schooling and time spent in the field with his father and grandfather. You will be invited to touch and feel the olives and vines while enjoying the fresh air and peaceful nature. After the presentation and tasting, you will have time to enjoy the nature before the transfer back to your accommodation. This trip requires moderate activity. Participation in the grape harvest is only available in September, and the olive harvest in October/November, depending on weather conditions.
